About Us
Under the direction of the Los Angeles County Fair Association, Fairplex is home to the L.A. County Fair, the largest county fair in the world, as well as The Learning Centers which encompasses Fairtime Learning, The Child Development Center, The Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) and the Junior Fair Board. Fairplex also operates a diverse hospitality business with the Sheraton Fairplex, McKinley’s Grille, KOA RV Park, Finish Line Sports Grill, Cornucopia Foods, and the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel and Conference Center. The campus is also home to the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum and the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona; horse-racing and Barretts Equine Limited; as well as the Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition.

Corporate Structure
The L.A. County Fair Association is a 501(c)(5) non-profit mutual benefit organization. The Fair Association manages and produces the L. A. County Fair. The Association is self-supporting and does not fall under the auspices of any county or state governmental body. The Association consists of 50 members, including an 11-member board of directors. Directors are elected annually by and from the Association. Officers, management and staff are employed by the Fair Association. The Association has a long-term lease with the County of Los Angeles for use of the grounds. Surplus revenues generated by the Fair and other activities are re-invested into the maintenance and development of the facility.
